A recently established auction house with an aim to provide a venue for the buying and selling of quality antiques and collectables in the North East of Scotland.
Huntly Auctions provides the seller with a transparent commission rate of 15% (no extra illustration fees, advertising costs, entry fees per lot etc). The buyer pays a 15% premium (no vat) on all items purchased.
It is a fact of life that the big auction houses now take almost 50% of the total price of an item, what with their Sellers commission rates of 20%-30% and their Buyers Premiums of 20%-22%.
